The first big change is one more note: Queries! It shows all queries done and, if You are using MySQL, it also shows the query explained, useful to check yours tables keys!
This came with an extra flavor: numbers will appear within some labels. Why this is useful? For example, if you see "Queries (23)" and it was suppose to do only 3 queries, You probably forgot to include models association.
Just as in the image below (click to see it bigger):
I also have been refactoring the code and then came the last two features: You can cherry-pick which notes should appear and you can easily create your own! So you can add a note that shows the logged user information. Examples and more are in the README.
To install it, check the GitHub repository here (specific instructions in the README also)!
And just one more thing: If You are using MacOSX, it will assume that Textmate is Your editor (and add some special features because of it). Anyone who wants to use other editor or other OS, sign my RSS feed cause I will write about that soon! =)
If You like my recent adds to Footnotes, don't forget to recommend me at Working with Rails!
